So this is happening now, thus it looks like the doomsayers and pessimists were quite right. This year's armageddon's come in the form of a gigantic galactic 12-armed dodecapus (dodeca = 12). It'll take almost ten more days to eat its way to Earth's core (esp. with the crunchy side dish that is the moon), so by the 21st, the end of the world will come to an explosive conclusion. Oh well, Happy End of the World everyone! Stay saf.. never mind.
