Artist Reply: Thank You so very much, Anneke! Milkweed is a Fascinating Plant! The Seed pods produce a milk like substance! In the Fall the seed pods dry out & open up! The seeds are carried away great distances with the help of the Wind! As a Child We would make a wish, if We caught a flying seed! My Wish is Hope for Humanity!
