Sleeper in the Dark

A recent drawing I did of a Giant Pacific Sleeper Shark ( Somniosus Pacificus. I drew it using H,HB,2B, 4B, 6B, 7B, and a Ebony pencil, using Qtips and tissue to blend it in. I actually drew this from a picture in a National Geographic Magazine ( Oct. 1990) . It was captured on film in September 13, 1989 off of Suruga Bay, Japan. It Was estimated to be 23 ft. long. It was so large it shook their submersible. You can see the video for yourself if you put Giant Pacific Sleeper shark on Youtube, or if you put Giant Pacific Sleeper shark on Google, you can see where I drew it from. After seeing this I believe that Sleeper Sharks and Sixgill Sharks which are mostly found in the deepest part of the oceans should get the most attention for record size among predatory sharks instead of Great Whites.
