Titanoboa

A drawing I did recently of the titanic boa Titanoboa Cerrejonensis. It was a prehistoric boa that lived in South America. Originally I thought the snake maxed out at 45 ft. , but it's actually at 50 ft. now taking the title of largest snake to ever live . Because of it's large size it had to live mostly a aquatic lifestyle. I drew the snake out first using a 4H pencil then erased and subbed in the colored pencils line, the only part I messed up on was highlighting the the snake, which is a big no-no, but overall I'm impressed with it, being the first time I used Prismacolor pencils. Be sure to check out my gallery and more art coming soon.
