Now that is one heck of a proud turkey. Sure hope he/she doesn't end up of someone's dinner table at Thanksgiving. Great photos. Jerry Lee

Artist Reply: Thanks, Jerry Lee. He was strutting with his family behind him very close to the beach in Hawaii!!! We were amazed to see a turkey in that setting! :) I expect them around here where I live, though haven't seen one in the wild in years, so it was really strange to see this one there! :)

Perfect shot!! Very beautiful!!!

Artist Reply: This is the one where I said he wasn't too happy with me. He had his family with him & I think he thought I wanted to eat them or something! :D Thanks so much for the comment!

That must be a hen turkey!

Artist Reply: HA-HA! Nope, he had his hen with him, along with the little ones, & he wasn't very happy with me trying to take his picture....I think he thought I was trying to get to his family!!! Can't remember whether I got any of the hen & babies or not....she didn't have the spread he had!

GORGEOUS SHOT PATRICIA... DID YOU TELL HIM TO GO RUN AND "HIDE"???? JOANIE

Artist Reply: Thank you, Joanie! No, I didn't....he was safe because it wasn't anywhere near Thanksgiving at the time....I took it in March :D

Magnificent feathers on this Turkey Patricia, the changes in direction and colour are wonderful. Great shot.

Artist Reply: Thank you so much, Liz....just wish I could have gotten the picture a little sharper! :)

A wonderful pictured iconic turkey- great symbolic cover for a Thanksgiving greeting card.

Artist Reply: Thank you very much, Vernonette! I think he'd make a good Thanksgiving card also :)
