Blue Jay in The Woods

Digital photograph from the Cascade Highway trip. This bird was so tame and so tempting. He is a little hard to see....as he is overwhelmed by the woods behind him.....but I like that.

Great capture. He may be small in the picture, but it is big in your composition. The color blue stands out beautifully.

You need a Zoon lens to focus in the bird and get the background out focus.The subject should be clear to the viewer------The photo should be simplified to avoid distrating the viewer attention ( too many distration in the phot I could not find thebird.

i had a blue jay one summer who would drive down and take peanuts from my hand... they are such a bird of bravado... lovely scene pattijo... hes a nice vibrant blue : )
