Orla's beauty and light tinted the petals and leaves she brushed against. Her magic bound the colours to the earth, and her voice called the wind to sing amongst the bobbing flowers.... This piece was sketched and painted in one sitting, after many weeks of artist block. Strange how inspiration comes out of nowhere sometimes. The background was an experiment in blending colours and is more abstract than my more recent pieces. I hate pink, but I love using magenta to paint with.
