Little Feather's Basket- miniature beadwoven baske

Little Feather's Basket- As usual, I had a clear impression of what I wanted to do when I started this basket....& as usual, the beads took over & spoke to me of what they wanted to do :) It took me about 2-3 months of off and on weaving to finish Little Feather's Basket. I wove it in concentric & circular Brick Stitch, also known as Comanche Stitch. After I "finished", I wasn't pleased with it, because it looked unfinished. So, I decided to incorporate fiber into my design and went back & did some more weaving. It contains seed beads, metal feather charms, many hundreds of feet of beading thread, vintage beads, wood beads, & bone beads. It seems to be finished now! Size: 3 1/2"x3 1/2"

You are very creative, Patricia!

Artist Reply: Thanks so much, Anneke! :) This is one of the things I love to do best. It takes forever to weave these little tiny seed beads, but it's so satisfying & spiritual! :)

GORGEOUS BASKET The Beads shines So delicately, Interesting and Beautiful shades of colors. Excellent Work!

Artist Reply: Thank you so much, John. I don't know why the photo looks so washed out on this site! The colors are more saturated than what this shows!
