Wow! This is fantastic. I have a little online shop called Maka Le Wakan -The Earth is Sacred from the Sioux language. You've captured the essence of these people brilliantly.

Artist Reply: Thanks Cathy! I have spent alot of time around them and they are amazing to me. Where is your shop? Do you have a website for it? I am still a struggling artist hoping to get "discovered" and too broke to really promote myself! LOL! I am almost always paint my Native American friends who have let me photograph them for paintings and I paint later. It is wonderful and I have been very blessed with many many experiences that most can only dream of.

Really love this composition. The little boy gently leading his pony who is barely showing and yet the subject of this painting. "Stop and smell the Flowers" and "My Pony" really compliment eachother. The boy and the girl are both gentle in their own world.
