The Tower of Ouranoupolis Mount Athos

This original oil on canvas, 45- 60 cm, shows a Byzantine Tower built by emperor Andronicus in early 14th century. The impressive building is located in Ouranoupolis, a village at the gate of Mount Athos in Greece.
