Red-Kirmizi

oil paint, 35-50cm small,i tried to use different shades of red, focused main object, like i do everytime, soil wall behind, added some dark stain just in front of the bowl (horizontal) and both side of the curtain (vertical) to more focus on the main object. (feb-2004/istanbul), story; in an extra cold winter of istanbul, there is only one thing to warm up a painting; fruits. question; how is life as a green apple in such a red company?

You are very talented and your works are inspiring and beautiful to look at. Keep on painting!

This is beautiful - but you need to study the rule of the ellipse. An ellipse at eye level is a straight line. The straight line at the bottom of the bowl indicates that your eye level is at the table top and I don't believe it was. The bottom of the bowl should be a deeper curve than the top - assuming that you are looking down at it.
