This colorful painting is a portrait of Marie & Marco Pieri in Washington D.C. on a visit to an area pizza & pub. The background of this bigger than life portrait is from another pizzeria which used recycled materials - wine bottles and mirrors - to cover the walls in a unique display. Since I also make mosaics with glass and mirror, I wanted to incorporate the wall into my painting. The painting measures 27" x 33" and is in oil on canvas and will be displayed at my new studio/gallery, 31 ART STOP, in Hope Hull, Alabama.
