Quoth the Raven Nevermore

"Quoth the Raven Nevermore" - another phrase from the Edgar Allan Poe masterpiece "The Raven." This of course is another one of the installments in my series of paintings called "Once Upon a Midnight Dreary" - a collection of original paintings and figurines (limited edition statues from the Hamilton Collection / Bradford Exchange are now available). Each piece has a raven-winged fairy and her birdie friends with a decidedly goth feel. This little gothling has a Raven companion on his perch as she sits in a field by an ornate cast iron fence - perhaps the edge of a cemetery? My own original acrylic painting, painted on a wood/masonite panel. ©Jasmine Becket-Griffith - prints are available at http://www.strangeling.com and http://zazzle.com/strangeling*
