That pond was built in the 80s as a irrigation pond to grow Christmas trees. It was built in a peat bog. As the peat compost it removes the oxygen in the pond...thus no fish. Wild blueberries, brush and a few swamp azaleas grow on the edge. Very colorful in the fall. Open to the public Tom
