This is a painting I did in response to the Iraq war a couple of years ago, . . based on a reporter's story of a brave girl who didn't panic when soldiers broke into her house at night. It's a watercolor, currently on exhibit in conjunction with "Navigating the Aftermath" art show and event in St. Cloud, Minnesota, with the opening reception September 28th.
