Yeah the weather’s really turning nice over our way. The hill-country’s coming back to life – enven the old black stump has a few green twigs on it now since we got a spit-O-rain the other and we decided it’s time to break out the pic-nic basket and hit the road in search of the perfect spot. We’ve already decided on the new king of piknik lunch to pack – used to be fried chicken but that wheat/carb thing has reared its ugly head so now it’s pulled pork with just the right sauce – oh yes it’s good ~:0) Found this really shady spot out near the Medina River – which has some flow again since the rain – more rain equals more river – rocket-science. The shade was great! The burbling water was great! Shot a few nice pix while on this adventure. Shot this one using the Ol’ Canon G11 though I did have the m’ older Canon Power Shot A 490 along as back-up. Shot wide-angle – 6mm, 1/60th sec., f-5.6, iso 80. Additionally, tweaked and layered-up the image which I had cut apart sos I could add a bit of this-and-that in m’ old friend PhotoShop – guess that makes this pix manipulated as they say – - – got a secret to share with you – unless you’re pulling Polaroids straight off the back of the cammy they’re all manipulated somewhat – that’s what makes me chuckle about so called “straight” photography – that’s an illusion – Ha! Did I mention we had grapes along on this trek? Yeah, those nice red-seedless ones that taste like a million – - – had some wine as well – - – no bread though ~:0) VivaChas!
