Bob Ross, Oil , 16x20 Years ago I stopped drawing, I didnt pick up a pencil anymore and I lost the passion to recreate the beauty that surrounds me, I dreamed of Bob Ross one night, he stood in front of me with his paint brush and a sincere smile, even though he did not speak a word, I knew the meaning of my dream, I started a picture the next day and since then 4 years have passed, I have accomplished so much with my art, I have become what I imagined, this is for Bob Ross, who with a gentle spirit accomplished so much in his life and beyond.....I am a dreamer and I will always follow my dreams...Hope you enjoy my painting of a great American icon, a inspiration to all artists alike, who see a vision and create it!

Hi Debi! I looked through your gallery of work and I have to say magnificent, awesome, excellent and oh so very cool your works are...and this one especially because of the common link I have to him...you know I almost went to his art instruction school instead of the art center design college, but I chose Art Center because they gave me a full scholarship...I couldn't say no to that! Keep up the fantastic imagery you create and I'll look for your new ones you add! Happy Halloween!David Heath 26 Jun 2012

I LOVE this! I remember my love for art developing as a child by watching Bob Ross on PBS. His talent for taking something so simple and transforming it into spectacular art was amazing and fascinated me. You have captured that so well! Brava!Claude J Morrissette 12 Sep 2011

This is a wonderful tribute. I've spent many hours watching him paint! He did have a gentle spirit; just one of the things that made it a pleasure to watch him! I'm sure he would love this.Tara Diaz 12 Sep 2011
That is awesome! I grew up watching Bob Ross and I told my mom, "That is what I want to do"! When I was 16 my parents bought me my first Bob Ross paint set. I painted a little during high school but since I didn't have the money to attend college, I joined the military after graduation. I stopped painting for eleven years......life took me in different directions. The passion to create never left me and last year I started to paint again. Bob Ross inspired me. You captured the spark in his eyes! Great job. He would be proud!
