I know I'm dating myself but did bikes really get any better than these? I still remember the day I first saw a banana seat bike. Maybe they hadn't caught on in Australia but we had just moved back to the states and I, with all the fine taste of a four-year-old, thought my sister's green Schwinn with matching yellow and white the flower power seat was a thing of beauty. Not only did that squeaky vinyl seat stick to our legs on a hot summer day, there was acutally room enough for two--three if the neighbor girl squeazed her boney hips into those high handle bars.
