Rudolf Ernst, also known as rudolph Ernst (born 1854 - died 1932), was an Austrian Orientalist artist. Rudolf Ernst is best known for his Orientalist pictures which portray merchants, guards and pashas of the Ottoman Empire. He did paint a small number of portraits, which were commissioned during his travels in Turkey in 1890.
