Great image and spooky, what was that building do you know? A great capture!
Artist Reply: thank you Cynthia..the building was a house as I know and must be built in the beginning of 19's years and damaged because of an earthquake, so not safe to live in now..
Great nostalgic pictures Metin. Is it in the area where whriter Pierre Loti lived ??? I visited Istanbul many many years ago and I do not remember exactly all places !
Artist Reply: thank you Marie Claire for your comment..oh didn't know that you've been to Istanbul before..the house is in Galata region which is around the Galata Tower (let me say the east side of the Golden Horn)And the place where Pierre Loti lived is in the opposite (north) side of the Golden Horn..hope you come to Istanbul someday again..probably the many changes in the city will make you surprised a lot..

What wonderful architecture. So sad no one calls it home anymore. WHAT STORIES IT COULD TELL.....Donald Schrier 25 Jun 2011

Very deserted and imposing images Metin. Love the peacock though, it really breaks the mood. Well done.
