Sisterdale Winery

The Sisterdale Winery is in a series of ancient looking barns and related structures on the road between Boerne Texas and Luckenbach – yeah, I know – Great Town Names ~:0) I think the “Highway” is 1376 also known as – wait for it – The Sisterdale Road – well okay! Anyhoo – cute shops that are sometimes and the winery – which is a working winery and very cool to give a look. It’s old-school-texanna on the outside as this pix relates, but very clean and modern on the inside. I’d like to meet their decorator – stainless-steel, birch, mixed with barn-wood and historical equipment from the days when the structure was a cotton gin or something like that. We took the tour – tasted the wine – took pictures – and used the dunny – great place to put a town and there are a few old trucks on display here and there – I’ll be posting a foto of one of them soon. As for this photo of the exterior of the winery – it was a blistering sunny day and yet with giant oak trees everywhere one constantly met with varied lighting which is sort of how life goes anyway. In keeping with my Burning Memories into Grey-Matter theme of this site I give you my photographic interpretation of The Sisterdale Winery along the road to Luckenbach and all points north – salude ~:0) VivaChas!
