Getting a New Skin I

Getting A New Skin I- After being evacuated because of the Tsunami, we spent the night & most of the next day in the car because the all-clear hadn't been given. We couldn't go back to our condo, so we rode around & stopped at "The Needle" & took some photos in the surrounding park. We happened to catch sight of two lizards climbing up a tree & in the process of shedding their skins.Taken on Mauai, Hawaii the day after the Tsunami. ©2011 Patricia Griffin Brett

Excellent shots, all!

Artist Reply: Thanks, Warren! I wish they'd been sharper, but they were climbing up the tree & were quite a bit higher than my head, so it was really hard to get them before they got away! :) I turned this one sideways because I thought it looked better that way!
