Recently cannonized on October 17, 2010, Saint Andre Bessette is famous for the many miracle healings which he attributed to the intersession of St. Joseph. He would take the holy oil which burned under the statue of St. Joseph at the shrine in Montreal, Canada, bless, and pray for the individual who came to Brother Andre for his powerful prayers. The portrait measures 12" x 16" and is in oil on wood.
