Adumbration of the Homeless

Charcoal on blue paper. Approx. 18" x 24". From 1993. A quicker, more stylized and modern day follow up to the Renaissance reproduction drawing I did called "Adoration of the Shepherds." There's a purpose for putting this drawing under holidays/seasonal. It should be somewhat obvious if you think of the nature of this moment and the fact that "adumbration" means the idea of overlooking someone or something in order to not pay attention to it. The blue paper really added to the mood for your drawing. It is sad to see so many homeless people.
