Stone Pine trees at sunset create an imposing vista in this impressionism painting, as one approaches the Neethlingshof Wine Estate, which was founded in 1692, in Stellenbosch, near Cape Town, South Africa. This painting creates a sense of tranquility, as it draws the viewer onto the road to experience the dancing golden light landing on the white rugged bark of the pines from the sunset. The white pillars at the end of the road create the focal point for the eyes to rest in order to drink in the scene.
