Unfortunately I
can't seem to capture this explosive and
colorful painting in a photo!
With all that cold
weather lately, here's my last piece of
#art,
reminding me of warm
summer days!
Sure makes it look
as if Spring and Summer are both here.
I like the detail to each one and they
seem to come alive.
I can almost smell the flowers........
This burst of
poppies will be
part
of
the
DFVA's Riverfront
Art
Show
April 1-3 in
Wilmington,
DE.

Also the color is more realistic
than the
big photo.
It's a collage/painting since I
added small paper flowers (r upper
corner) and paper spirals, cut from
an english old book.
They actually remind me of pollen, and
gives this painting a "breeze."
Don't you think that a painting very often
has a particular strong area?
The
colors and that specific part of the
composition in picture no.2 are so
balanced!
I probably will paint a
small one like this!
