If you have been viewing my other artwork you have probably noticed that I work extensively with concepts having to do with light. In this work, God's light of discernment reveals a pretender lurking in the shadows. And in this particular case the pretender is a false prophet portrayed in scripture as a ravenous wolf. The Bible tells us that there will be some who will infiltrate the church calling themselves Christians but who are actually there to satisfy there own carnal desires rather than to do the will of God. This work can be a reminder to us that we live in a world full of deception but we also have access to God's light to reveal the truth.
