Drangon fight

This is a piece I made for a contest. The scan didn't work too well. This is a large drawing and took 4 scans. So look past the scan and let me know what you think.

I agree with Rose... needs some bolder lines or shading or something to make the individual parts stand out more. However, I also agree with the general concensus that this is a very good piece of artwork. Excellent use of line techniques, readily evident in the zoomed view. Your characters are original and the monster is unusual which is good.

Nice piece and great detail, but the difference in the paper color is one thing that caught my eye. Overall good work.

Wow! It's very busy, but most comic type work seems to be when it's at it's best :) Nice line work! Especially in the shadows! Thanks for the zoomed view! Perspective is interestingly accomplished in this piece! The only thing I can add, is that I think some more line work (bolder lines) in certain places would help seperate pieces of the drawing from each other. Otherwise a nice piece!

hello Jay...i've done that before when scanning large pieces before my digital camera.. looks like you pieced it together pretty well ... i like the darkness in he shadows and overall fillup the page with details and fantasy... very nice pen and inkwork ...
