Lisa's Westie by Alison Vernon 8x8, palette knife oil on canvas www.alisonvernon.com I miss my dog, Moses, more than anyone knows. It's been three years and I still think of him everyday. It took me a year before I could paint his portrait which now hangs in our kitchen. He looks so alive. It's strange but in a beautiful way.
