Great photo David, I can almost smell it from here :)

Artist Reply: Adrian, I believe you are new to my side of the art world, thank you for taking the time to stop and smell the mineral art and photos. This blossom at five an a half inch is so delicate that just your breath moves its extended, outreaching blossom. Sorry that there isn't any fragrance, it starts its opening signal from the setting sun and takes about five hours to open fully. It stays fully open till it is touch by the rising suns rays, and then starts to close and withdraw within its outreached stem pod. So this really is the early bee (bumble) gets the pollen, and inertly pollinates to grow a rose hip. You can view this beautiful sight on a later picture. David
