as an Art Instructor at
the
Academy
of Lifelong Learning,
(Now The
Osher
Institute) in Wilmington DE.
Unnecessary to say how
honored I
feel.
Many thanks to my students and
collegues who made this
possible!
PURPOSE
• To recognize the quality, impact, and diversity of courses taught at the Academy of Lifelong Learning over the last five years of the “Academy Era”
• Not to select the “best ” or the “most popular ” but courses that meant something special to members of Lifelong Learning.
• To say “thank you” to the 10% of the members who teach and are the lifeblood of Lifelong Learning.
PROCESS:
• From the time of Fall registration
until September 20, members
submitted 110 nomination forms.
• 130 courses were nominated in various (often several) categories provided on the form or suggested by those making the nomination.
• A total of 310 individual nominations (a course for an award in a category) were made.
