As children of God we know that the holy spirit convicts us whenever we have commited sin or acted unappropriately towards our brothers & sisters so that we must now do what is neccessary to correct ourselves. this is a piece to show that moment. as the holy spirit (in the form of a dove) swoops down to convict the young man for his wrong doings. He lifts his hands in submission to the correction. The fire surrounding the holy spirit and man is a representation of the intense feeling we recieve within ourselves when we recieve revelation of our actions; prevoking repentance, a desire & a need to correct ourselves
