Originally anticipated to be an architect, I was highly encouraged by the art department at Drury College, of Springfield, MO to head in a more fabulous direction. The direction headed north after 2 semesters, to University of Minnesota, Twin Cities, where I "focused" on a multicultural, sculptural arts degree. I emphasize on bookarts, paper arts, and design, all with an architectural flare (deep within the pages.) Currently living in Little Falls, MN with hubby, Greg, sonny, Charlie, and daughter/diva, Anastahja, I'm exploring the altered book. I find time to paint and create as I "gather material" in my everyday life.

I am currently the coordinator of arts education at the Great River Arts Association in Little Falls, MN. I've been a member of the Visual Arts Committee for GRAA since 2004 and recently became a board member for GRAA in 2006.
