Gerardo Rios was born October 27, 1986 in Aurora, Illinois, where he discovered his purpose in portrait painting.
He is currently studying at The Savannah College of Art and Design where he is expected to graduate May 2010 with a BFA degree in painting. He paints with the ambition to capture certain truths about the human condition.
His future goals after graduating are to reside in Savannah, Georgia and start his profession as a portrait artist. He plans on furthering his artistic skills and working on putting together art exhibitions.
