George Silvaney began his career as an architectural drafter. A graduate of the Art Institute of Pittsburgh and Point Park College, George continued to fine-tune his skills as a technical illustrator and book cover artist. It is through this ongoing freelance work, as well as in his role as a graphic design instructor that George is able to express his creativity in visual form. He enjoys combining traditional acrylic, ink or oil sketches with illustrations and photo treatments created in computer graphics packages to produce an interesting final product.
