I was born in Miami Florida and raised in the Everglades. My first memories of creating art was drawing on my bedroom walls as a child. When I was in high school the only reason I went was to attend my art classes. I just put up with the rest of it until I discovered that if I got put into detention class for breaking a rule then I could sit at school and paint all day long. So I did. I got married soon after high school. Two children and 11 years later divorced. I started college and that was the smartest decision I have ever made. I earned an A.A. in art studio and I am currently a student at U.F. I am a strong believer in the healing power of art. In the most dark times of my life creating art provided me with a way to release negative energies and start healing
