My name is Raymond Gerena—I am a full time Graphic designer. I've been a freelance graphic artist in New Jersey since 2000. My main services include: magazine design and production, illustration, photo retouching, logos and website design Business cards,.I've loved doing all kinds of graphic art since I was a teenager in New Jersey.Attended the East Stroudsburg University of Pennsylvania college for Graphic Designfor it only took me 3 month to realize I didn't need teaching it came to me without any trouble. Encouraged by my travel-loving parents which ventured west of New Jersey into PA to settle, and uncle Fernando Sanchez, friends who had the desire of painting and drawing. After several years braving the long east winters while working as a graphic designer for Pearson publishing company, I decided it was time to throw caution to the wind. I packed up and moved to cold and windy city of E.Stroudsburg PA in 2009 to live a peaceul life and concentrate more on drawing and Photography. Everyone on my side of the family had settled in and embraced the poconos vibe so I decided to tag along After years in the corporate world, I've really enjoyed being a full-time freelancer. I get to do illustrations, magazines, advertisements, logos and Web sites, even signs, posters and newsletters. I enjoy working with a variety of clients—it makes life fun and interesting. My clients appear to enjoy working with me too (references are available), especially when I read their minds. My main interests are art, Photo shop cs4, and other programs but I love Macs (Apple computers) and brewing exotic wines. My kids are infected now too, not with the wine, of course—there is much art made (and many computers in use) at home.
