My first experiences with photography were 35mm, and were very limited. A few years ago I bought an Elph and love it -- it's always with me. Recently I obtained my first digital system, and am still trying to get past the mindset that I'm limited to 24 shots!
This area is full of beautiful scenery and old buildings. Almost every weekend finds me out shooting. If there's something in upstate New York you'd like to see, let me know and I'll try to get a picture for you.
