Born in Latvia, studied in The Middle school of Arts in Riga, Latvia. Graduated from the Academy of Arts in Riga, Latvia as a Stage Set Designer. For 4 years i worked in Latvian theatre. Have been painting since my graduation from the Academy , in 1982. Participated in number of exhibitions in Latvia, Canada, USA, France, Germany, Russia. from 2004-2009 my art was a part of the Art Expo exhibitions in Toronto Convention Centre. For 25 years I have been painting murals, faux finishes for private and commercial interiors. My important work was the restoration of St.Michael cathedral where I painted all stone faux finishes. In 2021 I moved from Toronto to Fort Erie. Continue to work as an Artist. My preferred techniques are oil and acrylics.But I do watercolors and pencil and ink drawing as well.
