I'm 55 and live in south central Pennsylvania. At this time, I enjoy drawing dinosaurs in their natural environment with a combination of graphite, charcoal, and carbon on illustration board. My favorite dinosaurs include sauropods such as Diplodocus, Barosaurus, and Amargasaurus. I've been fortunate to have my artwork included in the Prehistoric Times Magazine (total of 12 issues) #56 through #60, #62, #64 through #66, #71, #73 and #153. I initially began as a self-taught artist in 2002; however, in an effort to improve my skill set, I took art classes with Don Philips at the Harrisburg Art Association from 2003 through 2005. In addition, I've been fortunate to have anatomical/musculature assistance from established paleoartists Todd Marshall, John Burris, and Scott Hartman. I took quite an extended break after 2005 from drawing but have rediscovered my passion in late 2024 which yielded my latest drawing of the small herd of Gryposaurus. My goal is to continue to improve my art while portraying dinosaurs in their natural environment.
