A self taught artist and freelance photographer,D'Shey is deeply passionate about his love for art and photography.He sees the world surrounded by so much beauty that, through his work he seeks to invoke that challenge to the viewer to stop for a second and enbrace all the beauty we have been given by the Universe. D'Shey's mediums are mainly acrylics and colored pencil which he found a new love for just recently. His work touches on subjects from his roots in Africa with his contemporary african paintings in acrylic,his love for detail with his color pencil portraits of animals and people and his love for nature with his thought provoking nature and landscape photographs. It is his desire that through his work your fantasies are challenged,that you allow his work to inspire you to pause and enjoy the unadulterated beauty that mother nature has bestowed upon us. In terms of money,art is worth what one can sell it for;artistically it is worth whatever emotional content they communicate to others(read it somewhere).
