Born at Ferntree Gully, Australia, on 2 March, 1947. Studied ESL and art teaching in Sydney before spending fourteen years in Papua New Guinea. In 1989, relocated to Macau, a former Portuguese colony on the south China coast, and began painting professionally. Have taken part in many group exhibitions throughout Asia and in Sweden, Portugal, Spain, and Canada. Major prizes in Macau. I am interested in pursuing a technique rather than a specific style, although most of my works are abstract. I use a combination of tissue paper, acrylic paints and inks to produce brightly-coloured, highly textured works.
