I am an Artist/Monk living in a small town in Australia. My abstract works are not named because they are pure non-mimetic works that are not intended to portray any concept or emotion, or evoke any particular image or feeling. The works are simply what they are and I feel it would be disingenuous to put a suggestive title on them.

I feel that the reaction of the viewer will always be valid and do not want to constrain or mislead them.

For years I did only realistic art, most recently concentrating on the figure. However I found I was always striving to portray something more subtle than the form; often that subtle spark that illuminates the form from within. Now I concentrate on that which gives rise to that subtle spark.
