I started painting about 2 years ago. I first try oils with the Bob Ross method. I found it to be not quite as easy as it looks. Don't really like oils as a medium anyways. Started to use acrylics utilizing some of Jerry Yarnell's books. Found this to be easier. I have also done a limited number of pastel art. My medium of choice is acrylics, also because they dry a lot faster.
