Pierre Cherbit is painting since more than twenty years. His painting is in the first place the expression of a feeling, without a physical medium : he does not use neither photo, nor model, nor scene. It is the pure inspiration which guides him throught the use of the noblest painting materials, in alterning the arrangement of the different pictorial technics, which let him offering a unique processing of the color and the light.

Since six years, his painting explode. It shows us a variation of colors, an amazing deepness, which turns upside down a sort of perception of the so-called flat surface. His touch, his intuition of the light, his deepness, his colors caused him to receive at the Senate, the medal of progress delivered by the Société d'Encouragement au Progrès (founded in 1896), class Yvon Gattaz 2003 under the patronage of Mister Christian Poncelet, President of Senate. Unquenchable explorer, Pierre Cherbit became permeated throught out his course, with the richiests cultures of the world. Graduate from the 'Institut National des Langues Orientales', he speaks Chineese, Tibetan, Spanish and studies litterary Sanscrit.

During training, he was travelling all around the world and particularly in Asia, where he has been developing an import-export business of ancient art objects. For the encounter of hight artistical and spiritual beings, he stayed especially : " in Popular Republic of China : in Pekin, Tien Tsin, Dalien, Shanghai, Canton, Jinddezen, HongKong. " in India : in Delhi, in Himashal Pradesh (the himalayan spurs, Dharamsala ), Andra Pradesh, Puttaparthy, Tamil Nadu, Bangalore, Arunacala, Brindavan, in Uttar Pradesh, Varanasi, Bodh Gaya, Bombay... " in Nepal : at Kantmandu and Pokara. " in eastern Africa : in Kenya, Nairobi, Mombassa, and around the Elementeita lake.

Simultaneously, he invested himself in the practice of martial arts, from which that of the Viet Vo Dao that he has been improving for 10 years.

He had also studied the rights and developed a business of financial consulting, in long term investments , especialy in the US market.

Pierre Cherbit brings an artistic revival to the world of painting, may be initiating the dawn of a new artistic movement.
