I've always been head over heals in love with horses. Unfortunatly I couldn't have one so I populated my world as a child with posters and toys. I started drawing in Elementry school (which got me into no end of trouble with my teachers) and I never stopped. My mother was my first art teacher, she took lessons from The Famous Artist School when she was a teen. She and my father(he died just before I turned 30)have always been my biggest fans. I do all my drawing from my head and sometimes I consult my anatomy books for help with problems. A friend ask me once if I "Did anything besides horses." I can and sometimes do but the horse is my passion and I don't think I'll ever grow tired of them. I studied art at the University of Southwestern Louisiana, now U of L Lafayett, for three and a half year. My favorite professor was Elmore Morgan who tought me first and fourth semester drawing. Go Cajuns! When God made the horse He wrote poetry in motion.
