I am a self taught artist with a belief that my creative canvas is limitless. Growing up, I was always involved in painting and crafts during my spare time. From there, I grew to love expressing myself through all forms of art. I focused on art classes throughout high school and then studied Graphic Design (as well as Advertising & Graphic design) at Humber College. To satisfy my entrepreneurial spirit, I started a painting company that I have run for the past 7yrs. focusing on faux finishes/decorative painting for commercial and residential spaces. My three children make sure that there is never a boring moment - they are the most influential people in my life. For that reason, I decided to put my artist career on the backburner for a few years.
Now that my children are school-aged, I am able to shift my focus and concentrate on what I love to do most - paint and create. Presently, I am working in several different areas. I am working on several new techniques to create works of art for any space. The vision is to create a personal space through hand-painted dresser knobs, growth charts, painted furniture and wall art. I also create custom pieces and portraits for people as well as murals and paintings for businesses. I am Vice President of FASM, a local arts organization for the Town of Milton. I have submitted and donated my artwork to several galleries within the community, with great success. As I continue on this creative journey, my goals are to introduce art to children and to illustrate for children’s books.
