Artist Bio

Barbara Conner-Reed is a Washington artist, basically self taught, although she has studied from various well known NW artists. Her style ranges from realistic to abstract. She uses all mediums available to her. Although her favorite is pastel. She does Western and Wildlife shows throughout the NW and has shown in galleries in Seattle and the greater Pacific NW, as well as galleries in New Mexico and on the Oregon coast. In a recent move to the Eastern part of Washington state she decided to remove all of her art from those galleries and sites. Wanting instead to find new galleries and venues to display her work. The only gallery presently displaying her salmon paintings and a couple of her abstract pieces is the Pacific City Gallery in Pacific City Oregon. Barbara's work usually tells a story, depicts a moment in time or catches that perfect moment of a sunset or sunrise. Her work is colorful, moving and very inspirational. Making one feel as though they could just walk into the painting and experience the moment with her.
