I guess that I should briefly introduce myself...

My name is Julia though I usually go by 'Jules'. I don't have any previous artistic training and have never considered myself to be an artist. I just recently began trying my hand at 3D art during this past Christmas season after watching an online friend do some amazing things with Poser (a 3D modeling program). It was my intent to attempt to illustrate an original novel that I am currently writing. However, as you can no doubt see, I've become a little sidetracked and worked on other pieces instead.

The primary part of my compositions are completed with the help of a 3D digital software program called 'Poser' (www.curiouslabs.com)and I also render in 'Vue' upon occasion. Nearly all of my pictures will contain postwork of one form or another whether it be digitally painted hair, clothing or lighting effects. All postwork is completed in a 2D graphics application called Photoshop.

BTW, I love hearing feedback on my artwork and don't mind *constructive* criticism as I feel it helps a person improve their craft. So... feel free to leave your comments!
