Self Portrait

Co-owner and curator of eklektikos gallery in Washington, DC from 1994 to 2002 and curator of Zwaanendael Gallery of Art in Lewes, Delaware, from 2001 - 2004, nationally recognized artist Michael Sprouse has established himself as an important fixture of the Mid-Atlantic art scene.

The June 2002 issue of DCONE Magazine describes Sprouse as "one of the most important young artists in Washington" who knows "the joy of creating something new and original with canvas, paints and loads of talent."

Sprouse exhibits regularly throughout the United States and is also the Art/Theatre critic for the Delaware Coast Press, a subsidiary of Gannett Press, Inc.
